We’re excited to welcome some new faces to CHaT this academic year:
Dr. Clair Baleshta
Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Baleshta is our first Postdoctoral Fellow in AI Ethics! Clair recently defended her PhD from Western University. With CHaT, Clair will be pursuing research on AI ethics and helping build out our public engagement programming!
I-Jan Wang
Graduate Fellow
I-Jan is a PhD Candidate in philosophy with interests in the philosophy of cognitive science. He recently published a paper on episodic reference, and have an interest in AI’s role in the practice of cognitive science.
Mohammad Areeb
Undergraduate Fellow
Mohammad is an undergraduate majoring in Computer Science. At CHaT, he will work on building tools for AI literacy.
